What Views or Beliefs Do Jehovah’s Witnesses No Longer Teach?
by minimus inevidently they have changed their creative day from being 7000 years per day.
all blood transfusions were taboo but now blood fractions might be allowed to be taken into the body.
vaccinations were sinful at one time but not now.. can you name other views or beliefs that have changed from being considered “truth” to no longer “the truth “?.

Convention 2019: Children told don't form emotional attachment to pets!
by Nathan R. Koppe ini have just heard from a visitor to the jehovah's witnesses convention for 2019, that they have been told; 'not to form an emotional attachment to their pets, as animals don't have feelings anyway'.. well, that should break a few children hearts!👨👩👧👦 🥴 😭 💔.

It just shows how detached the cult is about nature. They don't have a clue how animals feel. Having dogs and cats most of my life taught me how intelligent they really are. There was a study on animals serveral years ago and the reseachers found animals are more intelligent than any one ever thought. Cult thinking 101 take away everything that will give you enjoyment. Sad fact is many religions feel that animals are ours to do whatever we want to do with them. They don't understand animals are just as important to nature as humams are. Instead of being adversarial towards nature we should learn to be more part of it. What can I say, the wt. Is a sick, sick cult. Still Totally ADD

I didn't take drugs or go out and drink and I still love my wife of 45 years and not looking for another relationship. But I smoke a cigar once in a blue moon, join a group of mostly athiest, I love christmas , birthdays and the fireworks on the 4th of July. Beng a born-in these are the ones that make me feel like a kid. I care less about the other hoildays except I get a day off work. I also grew a beard and I cuss once in awhile. I have also read alot of books I would never had the time for before. Rarely do I think it's tuesday or thursday night I have to go to a meeting. The only thursday night meeting I go to now is once a month to a mens dicussion group. Going on 9 years being out of the cult has made me into the worldly person I am today. Lol. Still Totally ADD

stillin I know what you mean. The last time I went to a meeting I ask the P.O. if the elders could help me with my mother by talking to her to listen she needed help. After my dad died she went down mentally to the point she was violent and was telling everyone in the congregation my wife broke into her bank and stole all her money also she was having orgy's in her living room. Some of the elders were believing it. I was told by the P.O. it was not their responsibility and it was up to me to take care of her. She was so out of control there was nothing I could do. Also I had to tell the P.O. if my my wife had indeed broke into her bank and stole her money don't you think the FBI would be at our front door. Idiots all of them. I got up from my chair and walk out and never set foot in a kingdom hall ever again. My mom is now 96 and has been in a nursing home for 8 years. So violent they keep her in a lock down area of the home and has no idea who she is or any of her children or grand children. I have been told she mostly sleeps all day and night. Hurt, hurt, hurt. Still Totally ADD

Born-ins are trap in a cult and because of this they are expected to act like little adults think like little adults and knock on doors like little adults selling their brand of cult religion. Making money on the backs of children. It is easier to make a born-in into a publisher than what blondie showed us it takes to make a convert into a publisher. i had moved on from the drama and confusion that transitioning out of being a jw and into the world meant.
i was building a happy life with my children.

I remember it well. 15 years old and very intersted in the moon shots. My Dad sat me down and read this article to me and told me not to get interested in anything in the world. Don't have any friends outside the borg because all the people I know who are not in the borg will be dead. That fear keep me from getting a higer education in what in what I wanted to do. Our car is tied in with my wife phone. If someone calls it goes right through the radio. No need to touch the phone. My feeling on texting is don't do it while driving or as far as I am concerned not at all. Life is to short to have your face glued to a hand held device. Lol. Also driving is a privelege not a right here in the U.S. So obey the laws given it may save your life as well as others. Still Totally ADD

Never saw a DA letter but did have one ask to meet with a couple of elders and I was one of them. It was a short meeting where he told us he no longer wanted to be a JW because he had some things he needed to do that was not christian. Never knew what that was all about. All we did was let the body of elders know about it. Never saw him a again. Still Totally ADD
